Has anyone who's read this series before wondered why that office is so sparse? It's because, since they're in a computer-created world, they can double-click in midair with their fingers and open word processing windows, and in some cases temporary chairs, so there's no need for desks or furniture. There wasn't a scenario that revealed this until now.

Also: cameras in all forms are obsolete, at least in the Internet, because people can just tap their heads to take a picture of whatever they're seeing.

Also, again: if you've got a paid dA subscription and don't see advertising, that is really what it looks like. Bulbous guts everywhere. There are also banner ads featuring close-ups of stained teeth. It's like they're punishing you, which they probably are.
