The problem with having a hobby that requires daydreaming to complete is that the same activity can prevent you from completing it. You'll never get a cartoonist or any other kind of artist to admit this was the actual cause of a delay, because it makes them sound really lazy....but it happens.

I know how this is. I have a project right now that I could have done lots more concept art for already if I hadn't spent so much time just thinking about it. (But it's a fairly complicated story, so at least I have most of it planned out now.)
